In addition one expects feedback as a result of the output of the testing phase which will lead to
additional data sources to be included within the ongoing work.
· Eurostat transport statistics, new Cronos database
· National passenger OD matrices (see testing phase)
· Dateline European passenger transport survey (see section 4.8)
· Rail Schedule Information Intranet (HAFAS Fahrplanauskunft Intranet): Timetables from
all the railway companies in Europe and tariff information for Germany.
· UNECE Road Transport Census: Length of E Roads by width and number of
carriageways and lanes at the end of 1995 and 2000 (all E­roads/Sections of single
carriageway roads/Sections of roads with two carriageways separated by a central strip);
Length of E Road sections by average annually.
· Official World Airways Guide (OAG): Schedules and airport specific schedule data.
· Eurocontrol Schedule information: Contains all aircraft movements (IFR) covered by
Eurocontrol ATCs. This information is still not available, as an agreement between EU
and EUROCONTROL to use these data within this project is mandatory. In case, these
data will not be acquirable, the sources “Hafas Flugplan” and OAG have to be used
instead, meaning that all information concerning charter flights is missing then.
· IATA Digest on Statistics No.486 & No.496: On flight origin and destination.
Unfortunately available only in printed form.
· IATA List of Ticket and Airport Taxes and Fees: The IATA LIST OF TICKET AND
AIRPORT TAXES & FEES is the authoritative source for the more than 1700 variants of
more than 700 taxes, fees and charges that could be applied to an airline passenger's
ticket.
· Airline Coding Directory: This directory is the official industry source for airline
designators, location identifiers and three­digit airline numeric codes.
· Airline Coding Directory ­ Location ID Codes: Taken from the Airline Coding Directory,
the location identifiers are available in an ASCII format on a computer disk.
· Airline Coding Directory ­ Airline Designators:
· IATA Digest of Statistics No.507, No.485 & No.495: Traffic by Flightstage.
Unfortunately available only in printed form.
· Tariffs for Airports and Air Navigation Services Doc 7100 / 2002 Edition: The CD­ROM
contains data pertaining to airport and air navigation services charges levied in 180 States
as well as information on State's general charging policies and their implementation. It
also contains a comparison by State of landing, take­off and parking.
· Hafas Flugplan: Travel information for air transport all over the world.
· Tariff database air transport: Database containing available tariffs between airports in
Europe and all over the world. To get these database as a company, which is not in charge
