Both youths looked at the belongings and one took hold of the bag with the Rupees. The<br />

other noticed all the jewellery on the young wife and said, ―Oh, the real treasure is here<br />

while we are messing with the heavy luggage!‖<br />

Raajaaram Sheth became very concerned and stood in front of his wife and child and<br />

said, ―Fols, Take all the jewellery that you want, I will take it off and give it to you, but<br />

do not hurt ….‖<br />

― Never you mind!‖, saying thus he took a rope out of the cart and tied the Sheth to the<br />

tree. Both then turned to the young wife, and shouting aloud said, ―If you wish to keep<br />

the child from put him down.<br />

The wife get was very frightened. With shaky hands she put the child down in a piece of<br />

cloth, what can a helpless woman do? Looking down, she mentally prayed to Mahaavir<br />

Hanumaanji. After the child birth, even this lady of Jain descent had developed great faith<br />

towards Hanumaanji.<br />

Just then the demon like two youths picked up the young lady and started to walk into the<br />

jungle.<br />

Crying aloud the lady wriggled. Tied to the tree, Sheth could not do anything to help.<br />

What would these cruel demons do to her? The thought made her tremble.<br />

The two human demons lifted her. Screaming, the helpless woman became faint. On the<br />

other side, Raajaaraam Sheth was praying to Mahaavir adorable chills of Anjani:<br />

Namaste Namaste Mahaa Vaayu suto<br />

Namaste Namaste bhavishya dvi dhaataa<br />

Namaste Namaste sadaa abhishta daataa<br />

Namaste Namaste nisahm Raam bhakta<br />

From Hanumaanji‘s mandir in the village on the opposite banks, there ware sounds heard<br />

in the vicinity of arati with ringing of bells and drum beats. The half darkness of dusk<br />

was making man more frightful.<br />

Just so, where the Sheth was tied to the tree, a monkey of great build alighted, and he<br />

immediately proceeded in the direction in which the two youths were taking the young<br />

wife of the Sheth.<br />

When a monkey gets angry, his form becomes bery frightful. Crinching his teeth, he<br />

reached where the two youths were carrying away the young wife, and jumping he<br />

climbed on the shoulders of one youth. With his nails he started to hit him.<br />

The two got frightened by this accidental calamity. Dropping the young wife they<br />

attempted to defeat the monkey.<br />
