SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY

There is a Summer (Terms 1 and 4) and a Winter (Terms 2 and 3) uniform which is compulsory for students from years
1 - 6. Parents are expected to purchase the full uniform and ensure that the student adheres to an acceptable standard of
appearance at all times.
All teachers are expected to insist that students wear the correct school and sports uniform to and from school, as well as
during school hours. These uniforms should be worn smartly at all times.
Parents should be notified if the uniform is not up to the standard required through a ‘Uniform Infringement Notice’ that
is to be sent home.
If children are taken on educational excursions teachers should also insist that children wear the school or sports
uniform unless this is deemed inappropriate for the excursion.
Hair
For both health reasons and appearance, hair is to be neat:
shoulder length hair is to be tied back (with royal blue or gold hair ties or clips).
fringes are to be above the eyebrows or clipped back
hair colour is to be kept natural
No excessive styles are permitted. If unsure, parents must contact the Principal prior to styling taking place.
Jewellery
For safety and security reasons it is recommended that no jewellery be worn. The school accepts no responsibility for
loss or damage of jewellery. Children are permitted to wear:
a watch
a maximum of one pair of sleepers or studs (one in each ear)
Sun Care
In the interest of sun care, the school cap or hat is to be worn all year whenever the children are outdoors. The school
maintains a ‘No Hat, No Play’ policy.
Uniform Shop
Uniforms are on sale at the Uniform Shop on the school premises.

SPORTS UNIFORM – to be worn ONLY on Sport/PE days
School Polo top, short or long sleeved
School Sport shorts, Royal Blue
Netball skirt (optional), Cornflower Blue
Sports shoes Plain Black or Plain White
Socks, plain White (not anklets and without lace edge or brand logo)
Hat with school logo
Winter School Tracksuit - Zip Jacket/Windcheater
SCHOOL BAG - with school logo available (optional)
HAIR ACCESSORIES - Girls' hair accessories should be Royal Blue or Gold
- Girls’ Navy Blue Tights.
PARENTS ARE ASKED TO ATTEND TO THE FOLLOWING:
As per St Anthony’s School Uniform Policy….
Hair must be worn neat and tidy, with long hair being tied back with royal blue or gold ribbons. No
excessive styles are permitted. If unsure, parents must contact the Principal prior to styling taking
place.
• Jewellery - simple chain with medal or cross only/simple bracelet.
Earrings –a maximum of one pair of sleepers or studs (one in each ear)
Uniform Shop – Open every Thursday - 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
