'536us, both of Oklahoma City, were married November
28 in the Nichols Hills Baptist Church .

Donald A Foster, '54eng, has been promoted
to assistant chemical engineer in the technical service
division at Humble Oil and Refining Company's
Baytown, Texas, refinery. He is engaged in technological
development and control of the four crude
distillation units in that refinery .
Martha Plummer, '54journ, has resigned from
the Tulsa Tribune staff in order to travel Miss
Plummer joined the Tribune in October, 1954, as a
reporter .
Lieut Col . Nolan C . Hatcher, '54m .ed, has
been assigned to the training division of the Deputy
Chief of Staff for Operations in the headquarters
of the Military Air Transport Service. Hatcher is
stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois .
Bob Hentzen, '54journ, has joined the sports
staff of the Topeka (Kansas) Daily Capital . He was
formerly with The Daily Oklahoman, Oklahoma
City.
Mrs . Ruth Ann Clark Winters, '546a, recently
moved from Galveston, Texas, to Chittenango, New
York.
Bill D. Sampson, '54journ, has rejoined the
Tulsa Tribune, after being released by the Army .
While he was in service at Fort Chaffee, Sampson
worked off-duty hours on the Fort Smith (Arkansas)
Southwest American and Times Record . He
is now courthouse reporter for the Tribune .
MARRIAGES : Miss Constance Stephens, '546a,
and John H . McKibben were married November 1,
1957 . The McKibbens live in Long Beach, California
. Mrs . McKibben is employed by American
Airlines .
Miss Rosemary Kyler, '546a, and Lieut . Jack E .
Dennison, both of Fort Worth, Texas, recently were
married in the First Presbyterian Church, Enid,
Oklahoma . The couple will live in Altus, Oklahoma
.
Miss Cordelia Cremers and John R Lynn,
'54eng, both of Ponca City, were married there
November 30 in St . Mary's Catholic Church . Mr.
and Mrs . Lynn have established residence in Norman,
where he is continuing his studies toward a
master's degree at the University .
Miss Carol Lee Lane, '546a, and Lawrence
Lewis Hubbard, both of Arlington, Virginia, were
married there on November 8, 1957 . They live in
Arlington, where he is security guard at Arlington
Hall . She is employed at Fort Meade, in Maryland
.
BIRTHS : Bryce A . Baggett, '54ba, '56Law,
and Mrs . Baggett have chosen the name Brene
Everett for their son born November 20 in Oklahoma
City. They have another son, Bryce A . Baggett,
Jr ., 2 .
Gene M . Gardner, '54Law, Duncan, was presented
a new daughter by Mrs . Gardner "for a
Christmas present ."

Luis de Villegas Borges, '55eng, Caracas, Venezuela,
is now president of two companies, one his
own, dealing in construction of urbanistic projects
and general contracting .
Lieut . Don S . Payne, '55ba, Henryetta, has been
graduated from the 11th Airborne Division's jump
school in Augsburg, Germany . Payne is a platoon
leader in Company B, 511th Signal Battalion .
Robert E . Hill, '55eng, has been employed by
the University of California's Los Alamos scientific
laboratory as an electrical engineer in the GMX
Division . The division is concerned with intricate
physical studies of nuclear weapon systems and the
behavior of nuclear weapon components during explosions
.
MARRIAGE : Miss Joan Adell Maness, '556us,
Sapulpa, and John Thomas Knotek, Beverly Hills,
California, were married December 14 in All Saints
Episcopal Church, Beverly Hills . Knotek is an engineering
graduate of U.C .L .A .
