CEC offers a comprehensive, college-preparatory curriculum designed to develop students’
abilities and talents by preparing them for a challenging college career. Academic programs include honors,
advanced placement and dual-enrollment (college credit) studies.

EDUCATED IN THE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT
Through our exceptional academic, spiritual, athletic
and social programs, each student receives thoughtful
attention and instruction to help guide them on their
path towards success. CEC offers a full complement
of activities for every type of student. With over 30
clubs and 40 athletic teams, the Conwell-Egan Catholic
campus is alive day in and day out. From Volleyball
to Robotics, Spirit Night to Debate, Theater to Student
Council, there are endless
opportunities for you get
involved.
The athletic program is
designed to produce a well-balanced
student-athlete who is not only
successful in the classroom, but who is
also capable of using athletic abilities,
of building leadership qualities,
and of contributing to the enrichment
of the school.

CEC is a member of the Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL),
long recognized as one of the finest leagues
in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Conwell-Egan Catholic’s goal of educating the

of service. Students emerge from their
service work as socially responsible individuals
who see the endless possibilities the

A COMMUNITY OF FAITH
At CEC, each day begins with prayer. Personal and
spiritual growth are encouraged and nurtured through
a four-year program of theology studies that allow
students to examine social justice issues. Campus
ministry is active throughout the year, and our school
calendar includes optional daily Mass, liturgies, and
class retreats - including
the highlyattended
Kairos.
