achieve the `Good' criteria of BS8233:1999 within the dwellings. Approved details
shall be implemented prior to occupation of the development and thereafter be
permanently retained.
To ensure that the amenity of occupiers of the development site is not adversely
affected by noise, in accordance with Policy DM H9 of the Development
Management Local Plan 2013.
14) Prior to commencement of the development, details shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Council, of the sound insulation of the floor/ ceiling/
walls separating the basement plant room, basement car park, and car lift from
noise sensitive premises. Details shall demonstrate that the sound insulation
value DnT,w [and L'nT,w ] is sufficiently enhanced and, where necessary,
additional mitigation measures implemented to contain commercial noise within
the commercial premises and to achieve the `Good' criteria of BS8233:1999 within
the noise sensitive premises. Approved details shall be implemented prior to
occupation of the development and thereafter be permanently retained.

and LnT,w for the floor/ceiling/ wall structures separating different types of rooms/
uses in adjoining dwellings. The details as approved shall be implemented prior to
occupation of the development and thereafter be permanently retained.

16) Prior to commencement of the development, details shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Council, of the external noise level emitted from plant/
machinery/ equipment (including the proposed car lift) and mitigation measures as
appropriate. The measures shall ensure that the external noise level emitted from
plant, machinery/ equipment (including the car lift) will be lower than the lowest
existing background noise level by at least 10dBA, as assessed according to
BS4142:1997 at the nearest and/or most affected noise sensitive premises, with
all machinery operating together at maximum capacity. A post installation noise
assessment shall be carried out and submitted to the Council for approval prior to
first occupation of the development to confirm compliance with the noise criteria
and additional steps to mitigate noise shall be taken, as necessary. Approved
details shall be implemented prior to occupation of the development and thereafter
be permanently retained.
