Mountain Goat started as Dave’s weekend
homebrew project in a Melbourne

backyard when a postcard arrived from
Cam while backpacking OS. Cam discovered good
beer in Vancouver and decided Melbourne needed
some too. But Cam and Dave had no money to
build a brewery and were knocked back from every
bank with combined assets boasting 2 mountain
bikes, 3 surfboards and Dave’s EH Holden. Fast
forward 15 yrs and they’re operating their brewery
in the back streets of Richmond independent and
true to their cause and having more fun than ever.
