It is with gre<strong>at</strong> pleasure th<strong>at</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Villanova</strong><br />
<strong>Art</strong> Department announces our first<br />
<strong>Gibson</strong> <strong>Gallery</strong> <strong>Art</strong> <strong>Show</strong>.<br />
The show is a collabor<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Thomas</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Villanova</strong> and General Amherst<br />
Secondary Schools. It showcases a broad perspective <strong>of</strong> student work. Come out to<br />
celebr<strong>at</strong>e our student talents!
The <strong>Gibson</strong> <strong>Gallery</strong> is loc<strong>at</strong>ed in <strong>the</strong> heart <strong>of</strong><br />
downtown historic Amherstburg. Close to all<br />
amenities and o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>at</strong>tractions, we are loc<strong>at</strong>ed<br />
a half a block east <strong>of</strong> Sandwich <strong>St</strong>reet on<br />
Richmond <strong>St</strong>reet.<br />

pop in to see us!<br />
The <strong>Gibson</strong> <strong>Gallery</strong> is loc<strong>at</strong>ed in South<br />
Western Ontario's historic town <strong>of</strong><br />
Amherstburg along <strong>the</strong> beautiful Detroit River.<br />
This former Michigan Central Railroad <strong>St</strong><strong>at</strong>ion, built in 1896, is a "st<strong>at</strong>e <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> art" <strong>Art</strong><br />
<strong>Gallery</strong> fe<strong>at</strong>uring towering ceilings, hardwood floors and showroom track lighting.<br />
A full season <strong>of</strong> exhibits by local artists and traveling exhibits from Ontario museums and<br />
galleries, arts and crafts lessons for children and adults, our unique <strong>Art</strong>s & Craft Gift Shop<br />
and three needle art guilds make this 112 year old building a vital center for <strong>the</strong> visual arts.<br />
Our design<strong>at</strong>ed historic building is renov<strong>at</strong>ed to its original Romanesque glory and <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>at</strong>tached Caboose museum highlights local railroad history.<br />
