The CST indicates that 60.36 ha and 26.21 ha of young forest and permanent disturbance
(YFPD) would be created through the construction of Option A and B respectively. However, it is
worth mentioning that the CST did not take the 2011 wildfire into consideration when calculating
this value. If the wildfire is considered in the analysis, this would reduce the additional YFPD
associated with Option A by 31.5 ha, bringing the total YFPD for this option to 28.86 ha.
