9. Adoption of the budget plan <strong>2010</strong> and approval of the budget<br />
<strong>UIPM</strong> Treasurer Gyula Bretz presented the proposed budget written in the <strong>Congress</strong> book (pp. 60-61)<br />
The President asked, if there were any comments to the proposed budget. There were no comments.<br />
Budget plan approved by consensus.<br />
10. Decision concerning the annual membership fee<br />
The Executive Board proposed to maintain the existing annual membership fee.<br />
No comments were added and proposal accepted.<br />
11. Reports of representatives of other <strong>UIPM</strong> bodies<br />
11 i) Vice President Mr. Ivar Sisniega<br />
Vice President Mr. Ivar Sisniega referred to his written report in the <strong>Congress</strong> book (pp. 65). He added the<br />
following comments:<br />
PANAMERICAN GAMES 2011: Vice President Sisniega mentioned that next year there will be the Pan-<br />
American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, of which he is member of the Organising Committee. In 2 weeks there<br />
will be the Pan-American Championships in Rio which will be the qualification competition for the Pan-American<br />
Games.<br />
SCHOOL BIATHLE: Vice President Sisniega asked the NFs who have participated in this project to send in any<br />
format the results to the headquarters and mentioned that the deadline was extended to the end of the year. Pr.<br />
Lara is the coordinator of this project. Modern Pentathlon needs to increase the number of clubs and number of<br />
athletes and this aspect of development of the sport can be achieved through this project.<br />
COACHING CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME: In order to develop the sport, more coaches are needed,<br />
therefore the Executive Board approved the curriculum and the budget of the proposal made by Jan Bartu for a<br />
Coaches’ Education programme.<br />
Vice President Sisniega added that he attended the ANOC meeting in Acapulco and received many positive<br />
comments regarding the changes in the sport the Combined Event and the introduction of laser shooting.<br />

11 ii) Report of Sport Director Jose Santos (JMS),<br />
The Sport Director Jose Santos referred to his written report in the <strong>Congress</strong> book (pp.66-69) and added the<br />
following comments:<br />
The Sport Director Jose Santos thanked the Executive Board, the NFs and the organisers, as well as the<br />
Technical Delegates for their contribution and hard work. He mentioned that all are working for introduction of<br />
new models and rules in 20<strong>12</strong>.<br />
