MOTION 13: Rule 5.2.6: Deputy Combined Event Director for the Running (Running Director) being in charge: Reason: It was recognised that it is better to let lapped athletes finish the competition, therefore the rule needs to be removed. 5.2.6 v) decide the event termination when pentathletes are lapped by the leader. This rule is valid only for Category “A” competitions and never for Junior, Youth A or Youth B competitions. This rule is not applicable in Individual Competitions, which includes Team Events at the same time. YES NO ABS 41 Motion passed. MOTION 14: Rule 5.2.15: The Last Penalty Stop Area Judges Reason: Clarification of position of penalty stop area 5.2.15 The Last Penalty Stop Area two Judges, stays at the special penalty area located not further than 700m from the start finish line between 400-600m after the end of the shooting range, ready to apply penalties that cannot be applied at the shooting station.
