around5:30tohelpsetup<br />
theeventbeforeitstarted.Theyputdowntablesandsetupthe<br />
diferentstationsforthechildrentouse.At6:00pm,thedoors<br />
openedandkidsstartedcominginwiththeirparents.Thekids<br />
gottowatchmembersdoexperiments<br />
andevengottodotheexperiments<br />
themselves.Thereweremanydiferent<br />
stations,suchascreatingbubbles<br />
filedwithdryice,<br />
recreatingthe<br />
digestivesystem<br />
withcrackersand<br />
soda,getingto<br />
toucheggsthathadbeensoakedinvinegar,<br />
andmuchmore!Afterthenightwasover,<br />
membershelpedcleanupalthemessand<br />
wenthome.Althechildren,parents,and<br />
membershadatonoffun,andwearelooking<br />

manyyears,andyetitisnotuntilnow thatIseeitgrow and<br />
prospersosignificantlyinsuchasshortperiodoftime.First,I<br />
wouldliketothankalofyou,foryouractiveparticipation<br />
throughoutthepast2014-2015term-yourhardwork,dedication,<br />
andgenuinepassionforservicecontinuetoinspiremeinal<br />
aspectsofmylife,andIhopeonlytore-payyouforyoureforts.<br />
Despitemanyobstacles,ourclubhasperseveredandemerged<br />
asoneofthegreateststudent-ledorganizationnotonlyon<br />
campus,butalsointhedivision.Withthatsaid,Iam greatlyexcited<br />
bytheprospectoftheupcomingyear.Ihopetoincorporatea<br />
warmer,moreinclusivesocialatmosphereaswelasarenewed<br />
driveforcommunityserviceinourclub.Inaddition,agreater<br />
emphasiswilbeplacedontheEliminateProject,theglobal,<br />
combinedefortbyUNICEFandKiwanisInternationaltocompletelyeradicatematernalandneonatal<br />
tetanusfrom theworld,aswelasthePediatricTraumaProgram,aninitiativetofundtheChildren’s<br />
MiracleNetworkofHospitals-intermsoffundraising.Ihopetoestablishaconsistentdivisional<br />
presenceofourclubaswelasamuch-neededunderclassmenpopulationinordertocontinueto<br />
thelegacyourpastoficershavecreated.Withthenew additionoftheappointedboardoficer<br />
positions,thereisnodoubtthatourclubisbuiltdirectlyonthestablefoundationofdedicated,<br />
kind-heartedindividualsitneedsonitspathtowardsuccess.Asitismyfinalyearinthisincredible<br />
organization,Iam devotednow morethanevertoensurenotonlyitsgrowthbutalsoitsoficial<br />
recognitionasatrulyexceptionalserviceorganization.ThereismuchinstoreforUniversityCity<br />
KeyClub,areservoirofuntappedtalentandpotential,andIcanonlyhopethatbothyouandIare<br />
