The SWF is able to discharge to the river as the level of the Kultigong at this time is at a low level, unaffected by tide. Similar outfalls exist for the Kestopur canal as well as for the Bagjola canals. Of course, a high capacity pumping station has been installed at the Bagjola end to pump out the water at the time of tidal lockage. Figure 3-7.
