FIAT NEW DOBLO LWB (COMBI) The long wheelbase variant of Lateral New Doblo low-floor adds a new level of functionality to the already highly capable ‘SWB. The additional row of factory seats afforded by the chassis extension enabled us to create a large scale wheelchair MPV capable of serving the needs of both transport operations and private families alike. Lateral have made intelligent use of the 350mm extension to the SWB Doblo’s wheelbase to produce a low-floor WAV capable of transporting five seated occupants to row1 and row2, and a wheelchair passenger in comfort to row3. Additional tip&fold seats may be specified to row3 for even greater transport versatility. As is enjoyed by the SWB model, the base vehicle specification & options list for New Doblo LWB is considerable. Vehicles may be tailored for cost-effective utility applications, or alternatively for highly appointed passenger car levels of comfort & convenience. Notably, two versions of the advanced Euro5 ‘Stop&Start’ ‘Multijet’ diesel engines are available, both offering formidable economy. Effortless access to the rear of our New Doblo LWB low-floor WAV is provided by another high quality bi-fold from the accomplished Lateral ramp portfolio. Q’Straint electroreels, rear retractors, and 3-point belts provide safe and secure wheelchair occupant restraint.
