Below are some suggestions for summer reading. It contains a variety of genre and interests that
also illustrate the quality and complexity of the suggested reading materials presented in the
Common Core. If available, both the Guided Reading and DRA level for each book are included.
Use these as a guide to select books that are good choices; however, students are free to read any
books they choose. Please visit the Keyport Public Library to view and select your summer reading
books.
