Signaturesigns its name to security
Pioneer isfitting the SAC VSeries Shootvault 3D
Locking System and high quality, cast zinc handles
as standard on its Signature Casement window. The
Signature Window has become one of the most secure
available, as through the addition as standard of a
door-type deadbolt lock. The Shootvault 3D lock pro-
vides 11point locking with adeadbolt to provide what
the company claims is virtually impregnable security.
This factor, along with the window being thermally
efficient, has found favour amongst Signature dealers
who are selling the product exclusively as part ofthe
Signature Network.
The central part of the lock utilises arugged steel
deadbolt lock which fits into aspecially designed GFN
keep with ahardened steel plate that provides exceptional
resistance to determined attack. Two steel cams
on the mechanism also secure in this central keep to
provide additional security on either side of the dead-
bolt lock. Apatented docking system also secures the
bolt in the keep against sideways movement when
under attack.
The 3D shootbolt arrangement incorporates acam
on the shootbolt which extends into ahardened steel
keep to prevent the shootbolt being levered out of its
location. Thus ashootbolt locking system is designed
to resist attack on all three planes offering significantly
improved levels of security.
