Briefing Day fitshownews AROUND 270 PEOPLE FROM COMPANIES EXHIBITING AT THE FIT SHOW NEXT APRIL made their way to the Telford International Centre to attend an Exhibitor Briefing Day, to meet staff and contractors and to learn about plans for the visitor campaign. TheFIT Show’sMatthew Glover told guests that just ahandful of stands remained despite floorspace being extended twice. Hewent on to detail the most extensive campaign ever staged for aUKglazing exhibition. Exhibition industryexpert Austen Hawkins reminded guests of the dos and don’ts of exhibiting in an hour long presentation that had many furiously scribbling notes whilst others qu<strong>eu</strong>ed afterwards to speak to him to gain more insights. The presentation has subsequently been added to the Exhibitor Log-In download sectionofthe FIT Showweb site for use by all exhibitors whenpreparing for the event. SimonIredale (pictured left), fromThe FIT Show’s marketing agency Motionlab, then presented the successor to the ‘everyone’s going’ campaign that has become the catchphrase for the event thus far. The new theme isanatural follow on with genuine fabricators and installers that have already committed toattending the event telling the industry ‘I’m going’ and why they wouldn’t miss The FIT Showwhen it takes place in April 2013. KATpurring at FIT prospect KATUKhas signed up for theFIT Show and will be exhibiting at the entrance in Hall 1, stand 01-02. The fabricator promises to show off and demonstrate a number of new developments. KAT isable to offer products in PVC-U, aluminium and timber, thanks to the recent acquisition of timber specialist, Joinerman, which will alsobeexhibiting at the show,at the entrance of hall 3, stand3-01.
