Round 3 - Pembroke Kings

Chu-Banga was among the best and show glimpses of possible entry into the B&F this
year. He also told me about 35 times last night how awesome he thought it was that he got
in the best players. Well done Chua!
The team completely fell apart without our trusty manager Maxine and so the scores/goal
kickers/best players may not be that accurate. However it was still a good game and all of
us enjoying getting out there and getting our hands on the leather.
This week we have a triple header against SPOC. The C's will be playing at 12:15 (the same time as the B's) in order to
facilitate us joining in the SPOC ladies day and perhaps even glancing an eye at the score board of the A's every now
and then.
Looking forward to a good tough game against SPOC. We haven't played them for a number of years and we look forward
to giving them a run for their money.
Tool of the week: Coach Crowie wins this week. After sending out the customary 'team message' on a Thursday night,
one of his players returned "not for me". Perplexed for a week, we sent the same player the same text message the next
week, only to get 'I don't know what you're talking about please stop annoying me' back. This was good enough for the
Coach to post in Facebook that said player was a shoe-in for the TOTW award due to his inability to figure out what
was going on. After a few minutes, "...This is Akka isnt it?" received a reply "no you have the wrong number leave me
alone goodnight". This forced an immediate reversal of the award.
