Rally is helping change the way companies around the globe define,
develop and deliver software. With the move toward delivery of real-time
business services, the dynamics of how winning companies perform
software development and management has changed – gone are the
days when requirements are detailed in advance and long "big bang"
development cycles are the norm. Today's leaders must adopt Agile
techniques that execute multiple development activities in parallel in
order to deliver high-impact software in smaller batches on quarterly or
monthly cycles. Now, more than ever, the agility, speed and quality of the
development organization directly powers the velocity and profit of the
business.
From an initial pilot project to enterprise rollout, Rally helps companies
succeed with Agile software development through Agile knowledge,
tooling and coaching.
Overview
Rally's family of Agile life cycle management products gives teams the
visibility and collaboration needed to deliver high-value software in rapid
iterations. Rally unites Agile project management with tracking of
requirements, tests and defects so everyone has a real-time picture of a
project’s features and quality, priorities, roadblocks and risks. Its deep
support for all roles and activities in the software development life cycle
provides an alternative to expensive and poorly integrated point tools.
Rally is delivered through a highly secure, hosted Web service that starts
fast and scales easily across platforms and geographies for low-risk, lowcost
deployment.
As part of a total solution for helping organizations succeed with Agile
development practices, Rally complements its tooling with worldrenowned
coaching services that help mentor teams to create internal
Agile experts. Delivered on-site, in public courses, and via phone and
Web conference, Rally's expert consultants introduce teams to the
project leadership skills and collaboration tools needed to deliver their
first Agile projects within 60 days.
Rally Supports Entrepreneurial Giving Program in Colorado
Rally recently announced their participation in a new philanthropic
program designed to help Colorado entrepreneurs endow Colorado. The
resulting organization, the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado, will
encourage entrepreneurs to make a commitment to the long-term health
and sustainability of Colorado early in the creation of their companies.
The concept originated within the Community Foundation of Boulder
County in 2003 as the ‘1% Club,’ in which founders of local companies
committed 1 percent of the company’s future profits to support local
philanthropy. Following models similar to Salesforce.com’s Foundation
(http://www.salesforcefoundation.org/), Ryan Martens, founder and CTO
of Rally, co-founded the 1% Club. The new Entrepreneur’s Foundation of
Colorado takes that concept to the next level with a simpler and more
leveraged model that includes both founders and investors.
