Programs Available to Residents<br />
For over 35 years, <strong>Sunr<strong>is</strong>e</strong> has earned its reputation as the<br />
premiere not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing<br />
the support and ass<strong>is</strong>tance necessary so that people with<br />
developmental d<strong>is</strong>abilities can take their rightful place in the<br />
community.<br />
<strong>Sunr<strong>is</strong>e</strong> <strong>Community</strong> in<br />
Tallahassee and Panama City<br />
<strong>is</strong> a private not-for-profit organization that has been in<br />
operation since 1985. Bayshore Cluster, Mahan Cluster,<br />
Dorchester Cluster, and McCauley Cluster provide 24<br />
hour/day services including therapies, nursing, medical,<br />
educationservices, and community activities.<br />
<strong>The</strong>se cluster homes all have three<br />
separate units with 4 semi-private rooms<br />
each, which specialize in medical care for<br />
residents. Individuals with developmental<br />
d<strong>is</strong>abilities can enjoy daily activities, the<br />
opportunity to be creative, work on various<br />
skills and experience an overall improved<br />
quality of life.
Unique Features<br />
<strong>Sunr<strong>is</strong>e</strong> also has adult day training services available to its ICF/DD residents. Adult day<br />
training services have been provided in the Tallahassee and Panama City community<br />
since 1995. <strong>The</strong> Adult Day Training program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00<br />
to 4:30 pm. Services available within our Adult Day Training programs are:<br />
