of the best work created
over the past few years by
older people in the region.
They have worked with
artists in a variety of
settings – day centres,
residential care homes and
in the community.
Recent research in the US
suggests that active
participation in the arts
reduces the risk factors that
lead to the need for longterm
care and improves the
quality of life for those in
care.
