Roman Fold
This is our most popular style. Both simple and elegant, the shade hangs down the back of the headrail and raises in subtle
folds. When completely lowered, the shade hangs flat. A standard 6” valance (returns available at an additional charge) covers
the headrail and conceals the shade’s hardware. When returns are ordered, we make the headrail 1” smaller (1/2” each side)
so that the returns seat properly behind the valance face. A valance wider than the shade size can be ordered for a $10.00 Net
surcharge.
Roman Fold Using our Simple Ascent Lift System, provides easier operation when raising and lowering a large shade while maintaining
Simple Ascent the appearance of a standard Roman Shade. We mount this shade on a larger headrail for greater strength and provide a 6”
valance (returns available at an additional charge) that conceals the shade’s hardware.

Product Style Information
Shade lowers from the top down, raises from the bottom up. Requires two cord locks; otherwise has the same elegant
appearance as our Roman Fold shade. Not available as Waterfall style or used on our Twin Headrail System.
Our Twin Headrail System allows for a Pleated or Cellular shade to be used as a liner behind the woven wood. We mount it
for you on our largest headrail for superior strength so the installation is simple. Plus the controls for both shades are
accessible from the front of the woven wood. Not available with Waterfall style or Duo-Fold shades. Front Woven Wood shade
not available as Simple Ascent. Back shade can use simple ascent option for an additional surcharge of $15.00 Net. The front
shade can be order as a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 head rail if desired. The back shade can be ordered as a 2 on 1 head rail but is not
available as a 3 on 1 head rail. Two & Three on one head rail surcharges apply.
A variation of our standard Roman Fold shade. The shade is mounted to the face of the headrail and hangs down the front
concealing the hardware and eliminating the need for a valance. Please make your customer aware that operation is difficult
and the material can fray if you are not careful because the pull cord is located behind the shade. There is no fabric coverage on
the top of the headrail as the picture above illustrates. Not available for Duo-Fold or Twin Headrail systems.
Designed with an extra large valance that extends across the Woven Wood in a straight horizontal line beginning at the base of
the angle. The shade can be raised and lowered up to the bottom angle. Due to their unique construction the following patterns
can not be used for this application: 4040W, 4043W, 4049W, 4050W, 4060W, 4072W, 4073W, 4074W, 4075W, 4076W,
4077W, 4098W, 4099W. Paper templates are not required but providing one helps us make the angle cut accurately. Please do
not fold the template. Roll it up and send it in a cardboard tube. The top of the shade comes Edge Trimmed at no-charge.
A-Frame shades can be lined.
Custom cut with small grommets placed near the outer edge. Product is installed with cup hooks. Bottom rail is a standard
fabric fold. For all non perfect arches, a template is required. The entire arch comes Edge-Trimmed at no-charge. Arch shades
can be lined.
A stand-alone valance 6” high and mounted to our 1 1/2” headrail board. Options include heights greater than 6” and larger
headrail boards. (see Options & Surcharges located below the individual pattern price charts. Valances can be lined.
Offered in either a Double (Two 6” overlapping folds) or a Triple (Three 6” overlapping folds). These can be ordered as
separate stand alone valances or to replace your shades standard 6” valance. For a stand alone valance, you have a choice
between an 1 1/2”, 2 1/2”, or 3 1/8” head board. (returns available at an additional charge). Can not be edge bound.
Minimum piece size is material full width (72” or 96” pattern dependent) by 12” high. Larger piece sizes must be ordered in
6” height increments. $5.00 Net surcharge per square foot.
Outside Mount - Hidden Brackets with wing nuts are used for all outside mounts. Extension blocks are available for
additional projection. Twin Headrail uses L-Brackets with long bolts & nuts.
Inside Mount - You may use our universal hidden brackets with wing nuts or simply screw the wooden headrail directly to the
inside upper sill. The Twin Headrail must be installed with 2” screws through the headrail and into the upper sill.
