are many, many preparations to make. Tsong-khapa<br />

stresses this very much but, we should note, he<br />

himself never practiced vajra-love, as he was a<br />

bhiksu. So really the Gelugpas never practice<br />

vajra-love at all; on the other h<strong>and</strong>, among the<br />

Nyingmapas (who allow two methods as we have<br />

related above), one finds many bad lay-lamas who<br />

pretend that their consorts are for this yoga, but<br />

actually they are just taking advantage of the<br />

teaching <strong>and</strong> enjoying their wives like ordinary<br />

men!"<br />

g. Every good karma to save sentient beings is found<br />

upon the altar of the female reproductive organs. There<br />

is a very powerful <strong>and</strong> effective function of this altar.<br />

Why? Because every event is void in nature <strong>and</strong> is<br />

composed of the male-female function. All void things<br />

function by these principles: The yab (father) <strong>and</strong> the<br />

yum (mother).<br />

In Tantric Buddhism:<br />

Yab st<strong>and</strong>s for the male, signifying great compassion<br />

<strong>and</strong> expedient means;<br />

Yum st<strong>and</strong>s for the female, symbolizing wisdom <strong>and</strong> the<br />

great voidness.<br />

Concluding these reasons, Mr. Chen again warned<br />

all who might think of practicing these methods:<br />
