Ghulam Farooq<br />

Ghulam Farooq belonged to the famous Khattak family of Northwest Frontier<br />

Province (NWFP). He founded <strong>Pakistan</strong> Industrial Development Corporation<br />

(PIDC) and headed several big government corporations before resigning from<br />

govt job in 1968 to look after his own business. Because of his contribution in<br />

<strong>Pakistan</strong>'a industrial development he is sometimes described as " the Goliath<br />

who industrialized <strong>Pakistan</strong>".<br />
