Back from Florida and good to see everyone. Thank
you, Richard Wagner, for filling in while I was gone.

March 21 — Smoky Bear Campground, Cosby,
K-Town rigs numbered 15 plus one visitor rig;
29 active members attended the 10 o'clock meeting
(four were drive-ins), plus Bill and Sharon
Jurkonie's Morristown [Talbott] guests, John and
Anne Wharton. The Jurkonies, Whartons, and
Emmons attend the same Catholic church.

The weather was a little cool on Friday, but Saturday
was beautiful.

MTG – MAR. 21, '15
Bruce Bell led the Opening Prayer and Tim
Hammond presented the American Flag for the
Pledge of Allegiance.

Tennessee. DFD is recipient of the TN Samboree
Card-Go proceeds.

Finally, a real camp-out that we can talk about. Our
first one of 2015 was all about who had something
wrong with the camper.

My kitchen faucet exploded when I turned on the
water. You just can't buy the broken part; you must
buy a whole new faucet. Debra Lord was able to
clear calcium buildup in their faucet with CLR
(Calcium, Lime, Rust) Remover.
Dub / Carolyn had a big problem. The Clark's motorhome
slide quite working. In came a repair guy, and
there went Dub to London, Kentucky, to get the part.
The Bells had a major problem since their outside
shower had frozen over the winter and required a lot
of work to repair it. WE ALL SURVIVED!

Thank You everyone who camped at Smoky Bear.
We had a lot of fun, played our usual games, and met
some new friends. The potluck dinner added a few
more pounds to each of us, and Dub Clark added his
Irish smile to everyone as they went by.

Our side trips are all but ready to go. The people
who are going to Cape Hatteras in June must call to
give their credit card numbers, and they are finished.
Crossville, for April. FEMA is coming in with work
crews and might be booking some of their spaces.
Please help them out and avoid any problems.
Note: The World's Largest Tree House was closed
by the State Fire Marshall, Aug 2012. Treehouse
Masters shows a picture of the wonder at the
beginning of its Friday 9 p.m. TV show. A Visitors
Bureau representative states a recent notice that the
tree house won't be opened in the foreseeable future.
Spend time in downtown Crossville. It's quite
interesting. Lots of history. Get a soda or sundae at
the drugstore.

I believe the trip to Seven Points Campground,
J. Percy Priest Lake, Corps of Engineers Pk, near
Nashville is complete. The campground is full.

I checked out a new campground called Smoky
Mountain Premier RV Resorts. It looks promising
but not this year. I am worried about the road inside
the campground. If there were a good rain, we might
have problems. We are at a wait-and-see point. If
the road stays good this summer, I might book it for
next year. The meeting room is large with a huge,
brand new kitchen. There will be plenty of shade
too. I will keep you up to date on this one.

Again, a reminder — you MUST go ahead and make
your reservations to Bean Pot Campground,
April Hosts / Hostesses (B&M Bell, D&D Galbraith,
B Hinkley / L Wittenberg, and B&J Morris) will
provide smoked pulled-pork sandwiches plus BBQ
Sauce, and they ask that we bring our favorite side
dishes, salads, chips and / or desserts to complete the
6:00 p.m. Saturday potluck meal.
As stated in our Policies & Procedures, Hosts/Hostesses are
responsible for drinks, snacks and paper/plastic products at the
Friday evening social. For the Saturday evening potluck meal,
members are to bring their own plates, eating utensils, and
drinks. …. Food items provided by attendees should be
sufficient to serve a minimum of eight.

tradition. The son of singer / songwriter Leona
Williams, Ron has been surrounded by legends of the
Country Music industry since childhood. Ron
currently resides in Hermitage, Tennessee, and has
been married to wife Amy for 13 years. They have
