A few more queries that we are pleased to share.
1. How many lever differs are there in the Legge 3lever mtce locks, eg LV? There are
seven lever differs in the range giving 100 practical codes. For your guidance refer attached
chart specially prepared for this question.
2. Another locksmith told me you people have a unique tool for measuring doors when
installing locks, is it made in the USA, can we have details?
The tool is called the 'Universal Door Marker' and is a quick & precise '3 in 1'marking
template for all tubular and key n knob locksets - every locksmith should have one. It
accurately locates centre line of door edge and the drill points for 60 & 70 mm backsets. It is
manufactured here in Auckland by us, is covered by a Registered Design, and we export this
item to a number of countries including the USA.
3. Am trying to locate key blanks for a light plane at the local aero club, can you assist?
from the SILCA range, we carry the two popular profiles, CN1 & GS4R. Refer Silca
catalogues for exact details.
4. Do you stock safe blanks to suit Chubb 6K202lever safe locks as used on teller cupds
inside bank safes? Yes we do, we have the English blanks available, #339165 (35mm pin
shaft) and#33916L (55mm pin shaft)
5. Can we get replacement Silca catalogues? Short answer is YES. We have sourced a very
small quantity of both the 105 domestic and the 503 automotive. Give us a call, but we will
have to charge the courier fee. All updates are available on the electronic catalogue and you
can log into the Silca web site www.silca.it and get quarterly updates - follow the
instructions.
