To verify that a build succeeded<br />

1. Open <strong>Team</strong> Explorer.<br />

2. Expand the team project for which you want to see results.<br />

3. Expand the <strong>Team</strong> Builds folder in the tree.<br />

4. Double-click the <strong>Team</strong> Build type for which you want to see results.<br />

How to View the Build Output<br />

You can view build output from the Builds window, accessible from <strong>Team</strong> Explorer.<br />

To view build output<br />

1. Open <strong>Team</strong> Explorer.<br />

2. Expand the team project for which you want to see build output.<br />

3. Expand the <strong>Team</strong> Builds folder in the tree.<br />

4. Double-click the <strong>Team</strong> Build type for which you want to see build output.<br />

5. Double-click the <strong>Team</strong> Build result entry for the build number for which you want to<br />

see output.<br />

6. If you want to see the build output folder, click the Build name link.<br />

7. If you want to see the build log, click the Log link.<br />

How to Change the Build <strong>Server</strong> Location<br />

In order to change the build server location for an existing <strong>Team</strong> Build, you modify the<br />

tag in TFSBuild.proj.<br />

To change the build server location for an existing <strong>Team</strong> Build type<br />

1. Open Source Control Explorer.<br />

2. In Source Control Explorer, expand your team project folder.<br />

3. Expand the <strong>Team</strong>BuildTypes folder.<br />

4. Select the <strong>Team</strong> Build folder for which you want to turn on code analysis.<br />

5. Check out the TFSBuild.proj file from source control. You might need to perform a<br />

Get Latest Version operation on the folder first.<br />

6. In Source Control Explorer, double-click TFSBuild.Proj to open it.<br />

7. Modify the tag to point to the new server.<br />

8. Save TFSBuild.proj and check it back into source control.<br />
