For the data-tier, you can use the same backup mechanism that your organization uses for your<br />

other SQL <strong>Server</strong> 2005 backups. For failover support, you can choose to mirror or cluster the<br />

data-tier servers.<br />

The application-tier does not support automatic failover. If you need to support rapid failover,<br />

you can provide a warm failover server that you can fail over manually.<br />
