G. Alert Tones Setup
Four alert tones are factory preset in duration, volume and pitch for the speakers
in the System 20A control unit and any remote units. The tones can be changed
according to your preference. Alert tones can be set up to correspond to events
shown on the control display or any of the remote displays.
Step 1: action result
Complete the instructions on page 11.
Press the SETUP, 4 and ENTER keys
to get the display to the right.
Alert Tones:Ø=Done
Enter Speaker (1--4):Ø
NOTE: To exit the Alert Tones Setup mode
and return to the Timer Configuration
display, press the ESC key.
Step 2: action result
To select the speaker you would like to
set up, press the respective number key,
1 through 4. Then press ENTER.
Ø= finished
Tone Event (1--5):Ø
NOTE: Speakers in remote units have
the same numbers as the units
they are in.
1 = speaker in control unit
2 - 4 = speaker in remote display
Step 3: action result
To set up a tone event for the selected
speaker, press one of the number keys
shown below, then press ENTER and go
to Step 4 on page 25.
Event#1, Speaker#1 On?:
Enter 1=Yes, Ø=No:Ø
1 = vehicle arrival at point
2 = under target limit
3 = over target limit
4 = over excess limit
5 = repeating alert
If you do not want to change the tone
event set up for the selected speaker,
press Ø. Then press ENTER.
Alert Tones:Ø=Done
Enter Speaker (1--4):Ø
If you would like to select another
speaker, repeat Step 2. If not, press Ø to
return to Timer Configuration.
