News from the Health, Security, Safety and Environment (HSSE) Committee Ms Sølve Ims Ottesen SiOttesen@isstavanger.no This autumn we have had some delays in bus transport. A combination of more vehicles on the roads, construction, and dark, rainy mornings have all contributed to the issue that some of the bus routes are experiencing in the morning. Some changes are made to departure times in the morning, and the bus company has taken some other actions to improve the situation. We hope that those of you who have had to wait for the bus in the morning, now will find it arriving closer to its scheduled time. I should also like to draw your attention to another traffic matter: When you are parking your car, we recommend that you reverse into the parking lot where that is possible. This is because you have a much better situation reading when you arrive at a parking place then when you are about to leave. Your windows are clear after driving for some kilometers, they are not misted as they might be when you are starting up. Reversing is good............. A Safety Audit to the High School and Science labs gives an overall good impression, but we also see that wear and tear to the building results in some of the electric sockets loosen from the wall and some maintenance items and those will be fixed by the vaktmester.
