The legal and commercial name of <strong>the</strong> Issuer is "Electricité de France". The Issuer<br />
may also legally and commercially be known as "<strong>EDF</strong>".<br />
The Issuer is a limited liability company (a société anonyme) established under <strong>the</strong><br />
laws of <strong>the</strong> Republic of France for a period of 99 years from 20 November 2004. It is<br />
registered at <strong>the</strong> Trade and Companies Registry of Paris (Registre du Commerce et<br />
des Sociétés de Paris) under reference number 552 081 317 RCS Paris.<br />

The <strong>EDF</strong> Group is an integrated energy company with a presence in a wide range of<br />
