Sizewell pressuriser - a unique issue successfully resolved • Defects relate to Pressuriser heater well inserts • There are 78 heater well inserts which allow insertion of heater elements into the pressuriser • The heater well inserts are the Westinghouse Type 3 design manufactured from a single piece stainless steel forging and are of unique design • During the next outage in 2011 these heaters are expected to be replaced with a problem free design • We do not therefore expect further losses due to this issue 2000-2009 Sizewell B output TWh High 10.3 Average 9.1 Low 8.5
