Pioneering Palletizing • In the early 1960s, Columbia Machine hosted an open house for local dignitaries and community business leaders • Lucky Brewery challenged Columbia to apply the same principle of stacking concrete blocks to stacking cases of beer onto a pallet • The challenge was accepted and Columbia began building the industry's first floor-level case palletizer • This innovative new machine was the start of a new innovative product line at Columbia, the Palletizer Division • For over 45 years, the Palletizer division at Columbia has concentrated on serving industries with palletizing solutions
