Lely Storm 130 P The Lely Storm 130 P sets new standards in trailed forage harvesting. Extremely high capacity combined with low maintenance make this machine ideal for contractors and large farmers. The reliability and long life of Lely Storm forage harvesters has been proven over many years with high trade-in values acting as a proof of their quality. Significant fuel saving The Lely Storm 130 P has a high crop throughput with a minimal effort. The 130 P can already work accurately and clean from about 55 kW (75 hp) This low horse power requirement allows significant fuel savings and energy friendly chopping. A clean sweep with the 1800 pick-up Wide, bulky or uneven swaths with short crop are easily managed by the Lely Storm pick-up. The closely spaced tines which are only only 54 mm apart in conjunction with the guide wheels ensure a clean and neat pick up of the crop. The pick-up accurately follows the ground contours giving a smooth lifting action without breaking the flow of the swath. The guide wheels are easily removed to reduce transport width to a minimum. The tough auger ensures an even in-feed of the crop. The strong drive-line on the pick-up, consisting of heavy duty chains and pinions is very reliable and is protected by a slip clutch in the event of an overload. 2
Lely Storm Huge flywheel power concept The 4 intake rollers create maximum compression and ensure reliable and even in-feed of the crop. The 1,300 mm flywheel with 10 knives and 5 blowing paddles maximizes the chopping quality and provides powerful and rapid filling of trailers. Setting of the flywheel to the shear bar is safe and simple without the need for special tools.The easy and consistent blade sharpening system ensures your knives will operate at peak performance at all times. The design of the heavy duty reversible shear bar ensures easy maintenance. Simple change of cutting length The intake gearbox is supplied with easily interchangeable gears which provide positive drive to the feed rollers and efficient pick-up reversing in all conditions. The feed intake rollers are driven separately by heavy duty PTO shafts fitted with individual slip clutches. Unique onboard hydraulic system The onboard hydraulics provide an independent, accurate oil flow which can be fine tuned to the tasks in hand. A built-in oil pump with its own oil reservoir supplies the hydraulic power for raising the pick-up, reversing the drive and spout rotation. All parts of the system are fully integrated with electro-hydraulic in-cab controls, which help reduce operator fatigue on long working days. Lely Storm 130 P Profi The Lely Storm 130 P Profi is equipped with an electronic metal detector. This helps prevent damage by metal objects. The double stop ratchet stops the feed rollers dead, immediately after detection. The on board hydraulics automatically switch the drive to neutral. Disc cutter Five blowing paddles maximizes chopping quality and provides powerful and rapid filling of trailers. Power band drive Tough, efficient, and low maintenance power band drive system for the fly-wheel. Sharpening Quick and simple – with the rotor operating at low rpm and the intake feed rollers in neutral, simply wind the grinding disc up to the knives.
