Innovative pick-up for rake-clean picking-up from the swath
The new, non-controllable pick-up is
another novelty. Five tine rows with
closely spaced (54 mm), reinforced
tines are non-controllably integrated in
the rotating carrier drum, thus ensuring
extremely quiet running and an enormous
picking-up performance. The five tine
rows guarantee precise and rake-clean
gathering of the forage and transport it
reliably onto the loading unit. Through
the new shape of the scraper board, a
cam track control with its wearing problems
has become superfluous, which
renders the non-controllable pick-up from
MENGELE absolutely maintenance-free.

The compact power package
With the model series AGROBULL, MENGELE presents
a new top class silage wagon for medium-sized and
large holdings. The new rotor wagon, available as
loader or automatic loader wagon, is exceptionally
easy-running and suitable for tractors from 90 hp
(66 kW). The cutting rotor with its 25 mm wide,

operation, and an exceptional easy maintenance =

31 knives cut the forage at one level to
an exact length of 45 mm. This way,
the forage is easily compacted and
perfectly structured for the requirements
of ruminants. The lengthy shape of
the AGROBULL knives allow a long,
drawing (and therefore power-saving)
cut. The cylindric ground knives cut the
forage package very neatly, even with
the knives becoming blunt. The simple
knife pre-selection (0/16/31) enables
a quick changing of the cutting length,
while the patented Trimatic single-knife
safety system provides reliable
protection from foreign
bodies. Knife removal is easily
done without using any tool.
For servicing, the cutting unit
is completely wheeled out
by hydraulic power. With
the transport wheels, it
can even be completely
removed from the loader
wagon.

The heart of the AGROBULL is its cutting rotor with 800 mm diameter. Five tine
rows arranged in a spiral manner ensure a uniform power distribution and therefore
guarantee a perfect forage pre-compaction in the 1600 mm wide conveyor channel.
The conveyor tines can be changed easily and, thanks to their 25 mm wide
supporting surface, transport the forage into the wagon gently even under difficult
operating conditions.
Unique in its class, the AGROBULL features a cutting rotor driven by tough and
low-wearing gears ensuring a uniform power
transfer also under alternating loads. The
power transmission is effected from the
drive spur gear by the flanged-on
carrier disc directly onto the rotor.
The large bearing stubs only serve
for the bearing. The AGROBULL
excels by quiet running
and a long service life.
Easily
exchangeable
tine segment
For efficient loading, the AGROBULL
can be equipped with an automatic
loading system working as follows:
A sensor in the upper touch wall
registers the loading pressure and
automatically controls the floor conveyor
feed. As soon as the wagon
is full, the floor conveyor is stopped
automatically and the driver gets a
corresponding acoustic signal.
Two 10 mm strong chains ( 4 chains
optionally with Agrobull 4000) and
a breaking load of 12500 kg each
ensure quick and safe off-loading
of the wagon. With the automatic
loader wagons, two (three at choice)

aggressive metering rollers loosen the
forage in a perfect manner and dis-
tribute it uniformly onto the silage
clamp.
