Not that you would know it from the weather we have been having recently,<br />

but summer is upon us <strong>and</strong> up <strong>and</strong> down the country our local members’ groups,<br />

Visitor Centres, children’s clubs <strong>and</strong> reserves are hosting a variety of wildlife-themed<br />

<strong>events</strong> for visitors of all ages.<br />

Whether it be fairytales by firelight at the <strong>Scottish</strong> Dolphin Centre or<br />

insect forays in Ayrshire; bats at Craignethan Castle or a shingle isl<strong>and</strong><br />

walk in Perthshire, there has never been a better time to get out<br />

<strong>and</strong> about in Scotl<strong>and</strong>. <strong>Scottish</strong> <strong>Wildlife</strong> <strong>Trust</strong> members<br />

get in free to most of these <strong>events</strong> <strong>and</strong> there<br />

is a discount for children too.<br />
