Centenial Presentation - Town of Conover

Seth called the location the Twin Lakes
Hunting Club. When Harvey Goodall took
ownership, it become the popular Lakota
Resort. Construction completed in 1893 but
was wiped out by a fire in Sept. of 1893 and
the resort was sold in 1895 to Dan Sargeant
who rebuilt. It was sold in 1903 to William
Adams who then owned some 248 acres
and a half mile of shoreline.
