Two golfers will have the chance to join Assistant Head of School Rob Moore and his friend David Brown (TCC member) for 18 holes and
lunch at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. This historic course is the oldest and arguably the most storied course in the United States.
It has hosted 5 USGA Amateur Championships, 3 U.S. Opens (1913, 1963, 1988), and the Ryder Cup.
Due to the playing of the U.S. Amateur Tournament the week of August 12–18, this round will need to be played in September or October
2013 at a mutually agreeable time.

favorite Dunkin’ treats in the Head’s Office during a morning break of your choosing. After school, we’ll have some “healthy snacks” before
sports (healthy to be determined by student/adult consensus—from apples to sushi)—picnic style, on the quad. After dinner and before
study hours, we’ll have Snackapalooza (the mother of all snack times) at Park House. All snacks will be prepared and ready for a group of 10

30S Buzkashi
Painted by LA student artist Mukhtar Amiry ’15, this 67" X 54" original oil painting depicts the game of Buzkashi, a Central Asian sport
played in Mukhtar’s home country of Afghanistan. Buzkashi is often compared to polo. Both games are played between people on
horseback and both involve propelling an object toward a goal. But, unlike polo which is played with a ball, Buzkashi is played with the
carcass of a headless goat. Polo matches are played for fixed periods totaling about an hour; traditional Buzkashi can continue for days.
Buzkashi is the national sport and a “passion” in Afghanistan. It is often played on Fridays and matches draw thousands of fans.

Hockey Team captured the gold medal at the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship in Ottawa,
