| 38 Η Μακεδονική Καλλιτεχνική Εταιρεία «ΤΕΧΝΗ», μας ταξιδεύει
στο χρόνο, στις στιγμές που γέννησαν το Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου
Θεσσαλονίκης. Άτομα, ντυμένα με ρούχα της αντίστοιχης
εποχής, ενημερώνουν τους περαστικούς και συζητούν
μαζί τους στην περιοχή του κινηματογράφου «Αλέξανδρος».
Θα μοιράζουν ακόμη αντίγραφα των πολυγραφημένων αναλύσεων
του Παύλου Ζάννα για την προβολή μιας ταινίας. Η
«Τέχνη» αναπλάθει την ατμόσφαιρα της εποχής όπου τα κείμενα
του Παύλου Ζάννα γνώριζαν το μοντέρνο κινηματογράφο
στην Θεσσαλονίκη.
«Η «ΤΕΧΝΗ» σε συνεργασία με την Κινηματογραφική Λέσχη Αθηνών
οργάνωσε και στην πόλη μας μία Κινηματογραφική Λέσχη.
Σκοπός της είναι να δείξει στα μέλη της μερικά από τα πιο αντιπροσωπευτικά
αριστουργήματα της 7ης Τέχνης, τόσο της παλιάς
όσο και της σύγχρονης παραγωγής» (περιοδικό της «ΤΕΧΝΗΣ»,
τεύχος 1, Απρίλιος 1956).
Σε αυτήν τη δράση δρόμου του 50ού Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου
Θεσσαλονίκης, θα θυμίσουμε στους συμπολίτες μας τις εκδηλώσεις-προβολές
της «ΤΕΧΝΗΣ».
Τρία-τέσσερα άτομα, ντυμένα με ρούχα της εποχής εκείνης ενημερώνουν
τους περαστικούς και συζητούν με τους καθισμένους
στην περιοχή του τότε κινηματογράφου «Αλέξανδρος», όπου γίνονταν
οι προβολές, για την Κινηματογραφική Λέσχη. Μοιράζουν
ακόμη αντίγραφα των πολυγραφημένων αναλύσεων του Παύλου
Ζάννα για την προβολή μιας ταινίας.

The Techni Μacedonian Art Society takes us on a trip back
in time, to the moments that created the Thessaloniki Film
Festival. People dressed in clothing of that period will be
providing passers-by with information and will be having
discussions with them in the area where the Alexandros
cinema is located. They’ll also be handing out copies of the
carbon-copied analyses written by Pavlos Zannas related to
a film screening. Techni re-creates the atmosphere of the
time when the writings of Pavlos Zannas introduced modern
cinema to Thessaloniki.
«Techni, in cooperation with the Cinema Club of Athens, has organised
a cinema club in our city as well. Its aim is to show its
members some of the most representative masterpieces of the
‘seventh art’, both old and modern productions» (Technis magazine,
no. 1, April 1956).
In this street event of the 50th Thessaloniki Film Festival, we
will be reminding our fellow citizens about the Techni events
and screenings that once took place here.
Three or four people, dressed in period clothing, will be giving
information to and talking with passers-by and others seated
in the area where the Alexandros cinema, which used to host
the screenings of the Cinema Club, once stood. They will also
be giving out photocopies of carbon-copied analyses by Pavlos
Zannas for a film screening.
