All Around Iowa Promotions are a big part of the pork industry’s success and many of Iowa’s county pork groups are actively involved in activities throughout the year to keep pork in the eye and mind of consumers. All Around Iowa provides a summary of these marketing and promotional efforts that pork producers around the state actively engage in. Black Hawk County Scott County The Blackhawk County Pork Producers grilled and served nearly 3,000 pork burgers at Fareway stores in Waterloo and Evansdale for the annual 4th of July promotion. Jeanette and Mark Schroeder proudly display the new mug the Plymouth County Pork Producers sold to promote their chop in a glove, the Pork ® Be inspired SM brand and their Grandstand Pork booth at the county fair. Tama County Four hours are all it took the Tama County Pork Producers to sell 700 lbs. of pork ribs to RAGBRAI riders July 28 in Baxter.
