Chapter<br />
The Greater Northern Illinois Area Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa International is offering the <strong>2012</strong><br />
Prospective Educator <strong>Scholarship</strong> to graduating seniors who plan to pursue a teaching career. The awards<br />
range from $500-$1000. The entire application process will be online and should be completed by March<br />

Township Officials of<br />
Illinois <strong>Scholarship</strong><br />
Program<br />
<strong>High</strong> school seniors may apply for one of seven $2,000 scholarships to be awarded by TOI this year.<br />
Applicants must submit the completed application (available on www.toi.org and in Township<br />
Perspective magazine), cover letter, an interview with a current township official, transcript of grades,<br />
two letters of recommendation and an essay on The Role of Township Government in Today's Society<br />
and in the Future.<br />

AMVETS <strong>Scholarship</strong>s<br />
This program is sponsored by AMVETS Chicago Police Post 18. Every year AMVETS awards one year<br />
$1,000 non-renewable scholarships to current Illinois <strong>School</strong> Seniors. To gather more insight into the<br />
AMVETS <strong>Scholarship</strong> Programs and to download applications please visit web site: www.ilamvets.org.<br />
Deadline: All applications must be postmarked by March 1st.<br />

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an international, not-for-profit, public service organization. The Glen<br />
Ellyn Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta services Chicago's western suburbs, and our offering a<br />
4-year academic scholarship. This monetary award will be given to a deserving high school senior who<br />

will continue his or her formal education in a 4-year college or university during the <strong>2012</strong>-2013 academic<br />
year. Applicants will be evaluated based upon his or her academic potential, finacial need and personal<br />
interview. Applications are in the PPS office.
