Here We Come A-Caroling….!<br />

Here we come a-caroling Among the leaves so<br />

green,<br />

Here we come a wand'ring, So fair to be seen….<br />

In an effort to spread some holiday cheer, Broadway<br />

Elementary First Graders caroled through SpringMeade<br />

Retirement Community. This is their second year and is a First grade<br />

enrichment activity. Both the children and the residents loved the<br />

caroling.<br />

I Believe….<br />

The <strong>Tipp</strong> <strong>City</strong> Community Services sponsored Breakfast with Santa, Saturday,<br />

December 4 th at Broadway Elementary.<br />

Children and their parents stood in line to speak to Santa.<br />

The children also made reindeer food, crafted Christmas decorations, played<br />

Christmas Bingo and ate cookies and milk.<br />

<strong>Tipp</strong> Middle School STARSS Presented A<br />

Christmas Collection<br />

On December 7 th , <strong>Tipp</strong>ecanoe Middle School STARSS<br />

presented A Christmas Collection, a Reader’s Theatre<br />

written by the Semester 1 Creative Writing Class. The<br />

elves were taking a cocoa and cookie break at the North<br />

Pole while Santa and Mrs. Claus entertained them with<br />

stories. The featured stories were The Smallest Elf by<br />

Haley Miller, The Night before Christmas by Gabe<br />

Callicoat, Cookies for Christmas by Chloe Culpepper,<br />

The Ultimate Gift by Jordan McMahan, The Bittersweet<br />

Gift by Presley Cruz, and A Note from Santa by Erika<br />

Brownlee. Lane Vulkovic portrayed Santa, and Jasmine Fletcher was Mrs. Claus. Portraying elves and<br />

various other characters were Rachel Jenkins, Nikita Parks, Meghan Kauffmann, Lydia Guevara, Claire<br />

Heatherly, Nicole Lange, and Ashleigh Hood. Following the performance, the audience was treated<br />

with punch and cookies. All agreed that it was a wonderful way to spread some Holiday Cheer!<br />

Nevin Coppock Students gave their Best<br />

Performance!<br />

Going along with the Nevin Coppock Elementary<br />

building theme of ―The Greatest Show on Earth‖ –<br />

―Giving our Best Performance Everyday‖; the students<br />

photographed gave their Best Performance and was<br />

selected to come to the November Ringmaster’s<br />

Breakfast.
