The applicant for this position will be a member of the RF R&D team involved into projects
dealing with millimetric RF test systems at our lab in Grenoble - France. This applicant will be
responsible for designing, developing, validating innovative RF front End solutions
(hardware and software) to address wafer level and packaged part/MCM testing of highfrequency
(10GHz to 90GHz) ICs designs. The successful candidate will be an effective
mmRF test solution innovator, knowledgeable on RF parameters measurement and insightful
person he will outline the needs for RF emerging standards such as WiGig and WirelessHD
and associated technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibility is to design, develop, validate mm RF test solutions (hardware
and software) to address wafer level and packaged part/MCM RF testing of highfrequency
(10GHz to 90GHz) ICs designs.
• Assume complete R&D ownership of high frequency RF front-end test systems
• Develop mm RF expertise on new RF technology standards in particular on WiGig and
WirelessHD 60 GHz WPAN.
• Develop RF test programs (i.e. write) based on customers’ test specifications.
• Characterize RF solutions versus customers RFICs specifications.
• Work with customer’s product engineering staff on mm RF test strategies
implementation for wafer probing and Final test requirements while maintaining
product integrity to specifications
• Assist with pre-sales activities for mm RF test project proposal and services
capabilities
Requirements:
• Minimum BS, MS preferred in Electrical Engineering
• Proven track record (5+ years) in high frequency RF solution designs
• Knowledge of wafer probing and packaged devices test a definite plus
• GPIB, LabView, Visual Basic demonstrated hands-on programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with operation and programming of bench RF/DC test equipment
such as Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Pulse Generators,
Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers
• Proficient with MS Office tools. Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g. Galaxy
Yield Management software) a plus
• Demonstrated experience with customers relations: strong communication skills and
ability to manage customers’ interaction at engineering level
