6TH european congress
44th general assembly of aci
the platinum sponsors of aci 2002
Welcome to Luxembourg !
delegate handbook
ACI Luxembourg is proud to host the 6th ACI European Congress and the 44th General Assembly of the ACI which is held in
Luxembourg from 21st May till 25th May, 2002.
In the months and years to come we will live through a very exciting period of change. The pace will be hectic. Those who
survive will be the winners.
Banking and financial professionals played a major role in introducing the single European currency.
You have responded positively to our invitation to join us here in Luxembourg.
ACI and the international community of participants in the Financial Markets have to re-think their future to prepare themselves
for the developments that lie ahead.
Luxembourg is a unique meeting place mixing history and innovation, local tradition and international finance, national pride
and European culture.
Cradle of the European Union, birthplace of Robert Schuman and home of Pierre Werner, Luxembourg is one of the most
cosmopolitan towns in Europe. Seventh financial centre in the world, capital of fund management, it is the ideal place to meet
financial leaders and to explore with them the secrets of the future.
Our Congress in Luxembourg should also offer an enjoyable opportunity to check - once more - how valuable is the warmth
and friendship of a gathering of professionals in a wonderful city.
Let us enjoy together every minute of a congress "for dealers by dealers".
Jean Thill
President
