2. Donation from MSIS PTA of $1,042.14 to be applied toward grade 5 field trip to<br />

Camp Mariah.<br />

3. Donation from Mr. and Mrs. Britt of a set of bells to be used by the Music<br />

Department.<br />

4. Donation from Wood Park PTA of 1,500 points in Scholastic dollars to each grade<br />

level and a workout trail consisting of metal disks to go into the ground.<br />

5. Donation from Mr. Marc Strent of $300 to benefit the <strong>Commack</strong> High <strong>School</strong> Camera<br />

Club.<br />

6. Donation from the <strong>Commack</strong> Road Runners Booster Club of $285 to be used for the<br />

G. The administration recommends that the Board of Education approve the appointment of<br />

candidates to the <strong>District</strong>’s Volunteer Program.<br />

H. The administration recommends that the Board of Education approve the amended<br />

Performance Contract between Johnson Controls, Inc. and <strong>Commack</strong> <strong>Union</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />

<strong>District</strong> acknowledging the increase in rebates and additional projects (including roof<br />

replacement at Smith’s Lane) from the initial $17,168,153 to $19,367,799.<br />

A. The administration recommends that the Board of Education adopt the resolution authorizing<br />

the issuance of not to exceed $40,000,000 Tax Anticipation Notes for the 2013-14 fiscal<br />

year.<br />

B. The administration recommends that the Board of Education adopt Joint Municipal<br />

Cooperative Bidding Resolution to grant Western Suffolk BOCES the authority to act on<br />

behalf of the <strong>District</strong> to prepare and solicit bids and requests for proposals for tutorial and<br />

Special Education Services for Students in an effort to reduce costs.<br />

C. The administration recommends that the Board of Education approve the Resolution<br />

Designating Time Periods to Implement the Affordable Care Act’s Look-Back Measurement<br />

Method.<br />

D. The Board of Education is requested to acknowledge receipt of the statement for professional<br />

services rendered on non-retainer matters in the amount of $22,581.50 for the period ending<br />

April, 2013 submitted by Lamb & Barnosky, LLP (see attached).<br />

XI.<br />

A. The Board of Education is requested to acknowledge receipt of the Internal Claims Auditor’s<br />

Monthly Update.<br />

B. The Board of Education is requested to acknowledge receipt of the CSE/CPSE<br />

recommendations approved on the following dates: April 12, 23, 26, and 29, 2013; and May<br />

1, 2013 and May 10, 14, and 16, 2013.<br />

Be it RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the <strong>Commack</strong> <strong>Union</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />

<strong>District</strong> shall hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Hubbs<br />

Administration Center, East Northport, New York. It is anticipated that the Board will make<br />

a motion for the purpose of adjourning into Executive Session at this time and at 8:00 p.m.<br />

the Board will reconvene in Public Session for the purpose of holding its Annual<br />

Reorganizational Meeting/Regular Business Meeting.<br />

Public Participation: Any person wishing to make comments or raise questions shall state his/her name<br />

and address.<br />
