1. Donation from Shana Kay Foundation of $11,947.00 for playground equipment at 

North Ridge Primary School. 

2. Donation from MSIS PTA of $1,042.14 to be applied toward grade 5 field trip to 

Camp Mariah. 

3. Donation from Mr. and Mrs. Britt of a set of bells to be used by the Music 

Department. 

4. Donation from Wood Park PTA of 1,500 points in Scholastic dollars to each grade 

level and a workout trail consisting of metal disks to go into the ground. 

5. Donation from Mr. Marc Strent of $300 to benefit the Commack High School Camera 

Club. 

6. Donation from the Commack Road Runners Booster Club of $285 to be used for the 

Commack High School Girls Track Program. 

7. Donation from K. Stanley Photography of $127 to be used by the Athletics 

Department. 

8. Donation from Novo Nordisk, Inc. on behalf of Gregory R. Barbero, of $860 to 

benefit the Indian Hollow Primary School. 

F. The administration recommends that the Board of Education adopt revised Audit Committee 

Charter (attachment to Board Policy #9280 – Audit Committee).

G. The administration recommends that the Board of Education approve the appointment of 

candidates to the District’s Volunteer Program. 

H. The administration recommends that the Board of Education approve the amended 

Performance Contract between Johnson Controls, Inc. and Commack Union Free School 

District acknowledging the increase in rebates and additional projects (including roof 

replacement at Smith’s Lane) from the initial $17,168,153 to $19,367,799. 

A. The administration recommends that the Board of Education adopt the resolution authorizing 

the issuance of not to exceed $40,000,000 Tax Anticipation Notes for the 2013-14 fiscal 

year. 

B. The administration recommends that the Board of Education adopt Joint Municipal 

Cooperative Bidding Resolution to grant Western Suffolk BOCES the authority to act on 

behalf of the District to prepare and solicit bids and requests for proposals for tutorial and 

Special Education Services for Students in an effort to reduce costs. 

C. The administration recommends that the Board of Education approve the Resolution 

Designating Time Periods to Implement the Affordable Care Act’s Look-Back Measurement 

Method. 

D. The Board of Education is requested to acknowledge receipt of the statement for professional 

services rendered on non-retainer matters in the amount of $22,581.50 for the period ending 

April, 2013 submitted by Lamb & Barnosky, LLP (see attached).

Be it RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Commack Union Free School 

District shall hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Hubbs 

Administration Center, East Northport, New York. It is anticipated that the Board will make 

a motion for the purpose of adjourning into Executive Session at this time and at 8:00 p.m. 

the Board will reconvene in Public Session for the purpose of holding its Annual 

Reorganizational Meeting/Regular Business Meeting.
