Executive Board Nomination Form Use this form to refer potential candidates for positions on the Rocky Mountain Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America (RMC) Executive Board of Directors. Members shall be selected so that the Executive Board represents diverse population groups and can bring to its deliberation a variety of points of view, skills and experience, as well as access to economic resources. The Nominating Committee meets quarterly and nominations are considered on a year-round basis. Candidates for the RMC Executive Board must meet the following criteria: Accept the principles, beliefs, and purpose of Boy Scouting; Understand cultural, social and economic trends locally, statewide and nationally and their effect on Boy Scouting and its activities; Be available to attend board meetings as set forth by the members; Be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of election; Be willing to make a significant contribution to the council and/or solicit significant gifts; Submit a board application, BSA membership application (which includes permission to conduct a background check), and other biographical information summarizing experience and education. While serious candidates will be interviewed by a member of the Nominating Committee, it is important that you provide<br />

as much information as possible in order for the Committee to determine how it will proceed with this referral. Please type<br />

Members of the executive board have broad range responsibilities as well as a duty as a fiscal agent of <strong>Rocky</strong> <strong>Mountain</strong><br />

<strong>Council</strong>. Some board members have functional areas of responsibilities, as described on the <strong>Council</strong>’s organizational<br />

chart found on www.RMCBSA.org. These functional assignments are made when there is need, and when it is mutually<br />

satisfying for the <strong>Council</strong> and the nominee. Is there a functional area of the board that you believe this person<br />
