The defragmentation of the MFT failed because<br />
of problems with the file system It is still fragmented.<br />
In order to defragment the MFT, contiguous free<br />
space at least as large as the MFT must be available.<br />
The defragmentation cannot be run because<br />
there is not enough free space available.<br />
During the MFT defragmentation, a file system<br />
error occurred which blocked writing on the disk.<br />
The MFT has not been changed <strong>and</strong> is still fragmented.<br />
The drive should be checked for errors.<br />

Data Security <strong>and</strong> Integrity<br />
O&O Defrag guarantees you complete data integrity <strong>and</strong> security. The only functions that<br />
are used for the defragmentation are already integrated into Windows.<br />
File attributes (Date, Time, <strong>System</strong>, Archive etc.) <strong>and</strong> the security settings for NTFS drives<br />
will not be changed. Access rights also remain unchanged. In addition, only one file per<br />
drive will be processed at any one time. This ensures that even in a worst case scenario, only<br />
one file will be lost (e.g. if there is a power cut). If you have any further questions about data<br />

Supported Hardware<br />
O&O Defrag supports all hardware components that are also supported by Windows.<br />
Please note the software requirements of the corresponding manufacturer.<br />
As a rule: if you can access your hardware with Windows as you would a normal Windows<br />
partition <strong>and</strong> this partition is formatted using a supported file system, then this hardware<br />
can be defragmented. Exceptions are removable drives such as CD-RWs, or streamers – as<br />
it makes little sense to defragment such drives.<br />
RAID<br />
O&O Defrag supports all known RAID systems. According to many hardware manufacturers,<br />
defragmenting RAID systems is especially important – as their files are spread over<br />
several hard disks, their fragmentation level is likely to be very high.<br />
