On the scheduling page, you can define the time at which the job should be carried out. You
can run the job just once, weekly or even automatically. The options change according to
the frequency you’ve chosen.
You can also enter advanced options. The start and end dates let you define the period over
which the job should be carried out. The maximum running time limits the running of a job
to a particular time frame, after which the job will stop whether it has finished or not. The job
will then start from where it left off when the next defragmentation run begins.
If you want a job to be run more than once a day, enter the required time interval under
Advanced/Start date.
The option of starting the job later if a defragmentation is not possible at a given time is
intended for systems that are not always on. Normally, the job would simply be left out if the
computer is switched off. If this option is enabled, the defragmentation will be run whenever
the computer is switched back on. This ensures that your job won’t be left out.
