Explanation <strong>and</strong> action needed<br />
90 Almost all of your files are fragmented – you’ve probably never, or<br />
very seldom, defragmented your system. The effect on your system<br />
is dramatic. Defragment your hard disks frequently, <strong>and</strong> bear in mind<br />
that it might take several runs before an ideal fragmentation level is<br />
reached.<br />
Starting an Analysis<br />
• Select the drive to be analyzed from the drive list.<br />
• Start the analysis via the Ribbon Bar under Defragmentation or by right-clicking the<br />
drive.<br />
• The analysis can take a few moments, depending on the size of the drive. You can follow<br />
the progress of the analysis on the drive symbol <strong>and</strong> the progress display.<br />
• When the analysis is complete, you can view the detailed status report as a HTML document<br />
in your web browser.<br />
Note:<br />
You can analyze several drives simultaneously. Mark the various volumes by keeping the<br />
Ctrl key depressed while selecting.<br />
Defragmenting Your Drives<br />
O&O Defrag allows you to defrag single drives or entire computers with just a few mouse<br />
clicks.<br />
