Deposits of the Kosovo<br />
Government institutions along<br />
with the deposits of PAK compose<br />
the major part of the overall<br />
deposits held in CBK by the end of<br />
<strong>2010</strong>. On 31 December <strong>2010</strong>,<br />
deposits of institutions of Kosovo<br />
Government and of PAK reached<br />
the amount of nearly euro 800<br />
million. Current account and time<br />
deposit assets are included in this<br />
amount.<br />

Among other accountholders, the Source: CBK (<strong>2011</strong>)<br />
commercial banks and insurance<br />
institutions are the most important ones in regard to the deposits level that are kept in the<br />
CBK account. Deposits of commercial banks and of insurance institutions kept in CBK<br />
mainly have to do with their regulatory obligations. On 31 December <strong>2010</strong>, deposits of<br />
commercial banks and of insurance institutions reached an amount of nearly euro 210<br />
million.<br />
Level of deposits of Kosovo Pension Savings Trust (KPST) kept in CBK decreased during<br />
<strong>2010</strong>. It reached an amount of nearly euro 40 million at the end of the year. This decrease<br />
came due to the increase of their external placements.<br />
